Bhubaneswar Rotary Club Welcomes New Leadership with a Vision for Community Good

The Rotary Club of Bhubaneswar Temple City has officially installed its new leadership team for the 2025-26 year, themed ‘Unite for Good.’ Pulin Kumar Sahu takes over as president, with Sanjay Kumar Sahoo as secretary. The ceremony recognized the contributions of previous leaders and honored 24 doctors and two chartered accountants for their dedication to public welfare. District Governor Manoj Kumar Tripathy highlighted the importance of recognizing selfless service in the community. The event also featured the unveiling of the club’s souvenir, the Dhauli, marking a new chapter for the organization.
 

New Leadership Installed at Rotary Club of Bhubaneswar Temple City


Bhubaneswar: The Rotary Club of Bhubaneswar Temple City celebrated its installation ceremony on Thursday at the Press Club of Odisha, marking the beginning of the new leadership for the 2025–26 Rotary year, themed ‘Unite for Good.’


Pulin Kumar Sahu has stepped into the role of president, while Sanjay Kumar Sahoo has taken on the responsibilities of secretary. The previous president, PK Sahoo, along with Secretary Surendra Kumar Panda, received accolades for their significant contributions during the 2024–25 term.


The event was graced by Rotary District Governor Manoj Kumar Tripathy, Inner Wheel chairperson Madhusmita Tripathy, Padma Shri awardee and former AIIMS director Ashok Kumar Mohapatra, and Rotary Assistant Governor KK Senapati, who participated in a special recognition program.


Twenty-four doctors and two chartered accountants were honored for their exceptional service to public welfare.


In his speech, Tripathy emphasized, “Recognizing those who serve selflessly is at the heart of Rotary’s mission.”


Outgoing president Sahoo reflected on the club’s major initiatives during his presidency, while outgoing secretary Panda shared the annual report.


The ceremony also included the launch of the club’s souvenir, the Dhauli.
