The new season of the Madhya Pradesh League (MPL) T20 Scindia Cup is set to commence on June 3, with the Gwalior Cheetahs facing off against the Ujjain Falcons in the inaugural match of the men's tournament at Holkar Stadium in Indore. MPL 2026 promises to be the largest edition yet, featuring an expanded format that includes 10 men's teams and five women's franchises. The men's competition welcomes three new teams: Malwa Stallions, Ujjain Falcons, and Royal Nimar Eagles, joining the defending champions Bhopal Leopards, along with Bundelkhand Bulls, Chambal Ghariyals, Gwalior Cheetahs, Indore Pink Panthers, Jabalpur Royal Lions, and Rewa Jaguars.

Women's Competition Expansion

The women's segment of the tournament has also expanded, now including Gwalior Shernis and Royal Nimar Eagles. They will compete alongside Bhopal Wolves, Bundelkhand Bulls, and Chambal Ghariyals in a five-team format.
