Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma's Government Takes Action on Public Aspirations

Jaipur. The efforts of Rajasthan's Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma have once again yielded positive results. On Monday, in the presence of Union Home Minister Amit Shah, a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) was signed regarding the Yamuna water sharing between Rajasthan and Haryana. This achievement marks a significant milestone for Chief Minister Sharma, as it promises to fulfill the long-standing demand for drinking water in the Shekhawati region.

Since taking office, Chief Minister Sharma has been focused on aligning development with the aspirations of the people in the region. This has led to the realization of several long-pending projects, which are now being implemented.

Upon assuming the role of Chief Minister, Sharma prioritized the Ram Jal Setu Link Project. Previously stalled by the Congress government, this initiative is now set to provide drinking and irrigation water to approximately 40% of the state's population.

In a similar vein, the Chief Minister has now signed an MOA with the Haryana government for the Yamuna water project, aimed at quenching the thirst of the Shekhawati region. Under this project, water from the Hathini Kund Barrage will be transported via underground pipelines to districts such as Churu, Sikar, Jhunjhunu, and others from July to October. This initiative is expected to supply 577 million cubic meters of water for drinking and other essential needs.

This accomplishment is a significant achievement for the BJP government in the state, made possible under the capable leadership and guidance of Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma. Education and Panchayati Raj Minister Madan Dilawar congratulated the residents of the state, particularly those in the Shekhawati region, stating that this agreement fulfills a demand that has been pending for 32 years.
