Scheduled Power Interruptions in Bengaluru

Residents of Bengaluru should prepare for power outages on June 21 and 22, as the Karnataka Power Transmission Corporation Limited (KPCL) undertakes essential maintenance and upgrades in various locations. The Bangalore Electricity Supply Company (BESCOM) has confirmed that these planned interruptions are crucial for enhancing the city's electricity infrastructure and ensuring a more reliable power supply in the future.


Power Outage Details for June 21 (Saturday) - 10 AM to 5 PM

On June 21, power will be cut in Peenya, Rajagopala Nagar, and nearby areas. The affected locations include:



  • HMT Main Road, CMTI, Boralingappa Garden, GKW Layout, Bank Colony, Vignan Public School, RNS Apartment

  • ESI Hospital, Akash Theatre Road, Kasthuri Road, Friends Circle, Malayali Guest House Road

  • Outlying areas such as Tharabanahalli, Hesaraghatta, Chikkabanavara, Dasenahalli, and Soladevanahalli will also experience outages.

  • Bannerghatta Road, Electronic City, and BTM Layout will again face power cuts.

  • From 10 AM to 4 PM, regions including KSIT College, Amruth Nagar, Devarachikkanahalli, Akshayanagar, and Tejaswini Nagar will be without electricity.


Power Outage on June 22 (Sunday) - 10 AM to 5 PM

On June 22, power outages are planned for Electronic City Phase-1 and its vicinity, which includes Doddathoguru, Bommanahalli, NJR Layout, Chikkathoguru, Konappana Agrahara, and Hongasandra.


Continuous Power Cuts from June 20–22, 10 AM–5 PM

Residents in Anekal and Attibele will experience ongoing power cuts throughout these three days. The specific areas affected are:



  • Anekal

  • Samandur

  • Yadavanahalli

  • Attibele Town

  • VBHC Apartment

  • Indlabele

  • Hompalagatta

  • Balagaranahalli

  • Gowrenahalli

  • Chikkahagade

  • Doddahagade

  • Harohalli

  • Haldenahalli and surrounding villages
