Bengaluru FC Triumphs in RFDL Final
In an exciting conclusion to the 2025-26 Reliance Foundation Development League (RFDL) season, Bengaluru FC secured a 1-0 victory against FC Goa at Bambolim Stadium in Goa on Saturday. This win marks Bengaluru's third RFDL title, reinforcing their status as the leading team in India's top U-21 league, as stated in an official RFDL announcement.
Match Highlights
During the first half, specifically in the 41st minute, Asher Rodrigues intercepted the ball and delivered a pass to Shaikh Mohamad Ismail on the right flank. Ismail skillfully maneuvered past two defenders but his shot was easily saved by the Bengaluru goalkeeper.
After the break, Bengaluru FC nearly scored in the 54th minute when Haobam Ricky Meetei found Taorem Kelvin Singh with a long pass. Unfortunately, Singh's attempt went just wide of the left post.
