Shetty's Remarkable Comeback

Ayush Shetty, a bronze medallist at the Thomas Cup 2026, showcased his resilience by coming back from a game down to defeat world no. 15 Weng for the second consecutive time. After losing the first game, Shetty took an early lead in the second, establishing a 4-point advantage at 8-4. Weng quickly closed the gap, reaching his game point, but Shetty rallied back from 19-20 to score three crucial points, forcing a decisive third game.
