Ayodhya Sees Surge in Pilgrims Post Ram Temple Consecration

Ayodhya has witnessed an influx of approximately 5.5 million pilgrims since the consecration of the Ram Temple. The Uttar Pradesh government has ensured efficient arrangements for visitors, including a significant number of VIPs. Notable figures like Amitabh Bachchan and Sachin Tendulkar have visited, highlighting the temple's growing prominence as a global religious site. With enhanced public transport, reaching Ayodhya has become easier for both pilgrims and tourists. Recently, Elon Musk's father also shared his positive experience during his visit. The number of devotees is expected to rise further in the coming days.
 

Significant Increase in Pilgrims to Ayodhya

Since the consecration of the Ram Temple in Ayodhya, approximately 5.5 million devotees have visited to pay their respects. This information was shared by the Uttar Pradesh government in a statement released on Friday.


The influx of visitors is not limited to the general public; around 450,000 distinguished individuals, including central ministers, governors, and chief ministers from various states, have also made their way to Ayodhya to seek blessings from Ram Lalla.


The statement highlighted that Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has ensured that the arrangements for the visits are efficient and comfortable. Officials have been instructed to guarantee a smooth experience for all visitors, whether they are ordinary devotees or VIP guests.


With the grand temple's construction, Ayodhya has emerged as a significant global religious destination. In response to the increasing demand, the state government is enhancing public transport connectivity, making it easier for both pilgrims and tourists to reach the site.


Notable personalities, including actor Amitabh Bachchan and cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar, were present during the temple's consecration. Commissioner Gaurav Dayal reported, "So far, around 5.5 million devotees have visited Ram Lalla. The majority of visitors are pilgrims, and we strive to ensure that everyone can have a safe and fulfilling experience. The number of VIPs is also substantial, and now Raja Ram has taken his place on the first floor. It is certain that the number of devotees will continue to rise in the coming days."


Recently, Elon Musk's father and sister visited Ayodhya. Errol Musk expressed that his experience in Ayodhya was wonderful, and he arrived dressed in traditional Indian attire to pay homage to Ram Lalla.
