Ayodhya Ram Temple Donation Fraud: All Eight Accused Sent to Judicial Custody

Judicial Custody for Accused in Ayodhya Donation Fraud

On Monday, a local court in Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh, ordered all eight individuals arrested in connection with the alleged embezzlement of donations for the Ram Temple to be held in judicial custody for 14 days. This information was confirmed by an official.


Umesh Dubey, a special public prosecutor, stated that after the previous period of judicial custody ended, the accused were presented via video conference before Special Judge Rajat Verma of the anti-corruption court.


He further noted that the police did not submit any request for the custody of the accused. Earlier, a special court had remanded them to three days of judicial custody until Monday. Following the hearing on the case, the court extended their judicial custody by an additional 14 days.
