Travis Head has emphasized the need for a cautious approach as the team aims for their second WTC title. The two-Test series will take place from August 13 to August 26, with Australia entering as strong favorites due to their home advantage and Bangladesh's recent loss by an innings and 38 runs to the Cricket Australia XI in a warm-up match. Currently, Australia leads the WTC standings with a points percentage (PCT) of 87.5.

Head cautioned against underestimating Bangladesh, highlighting the challenges that come with high expectations. He noted, "There will be significant scrutiny surrounding our performance since it's a Test match and we are competing for WTC points.
