Sarma expressed his pleasure in announcing that the following esteemed members of the Assam Assembly will be sworn in as cabinet ministers on June 5, 2026, at 12:45 PM.

The legislators joining the Assam cabinet include Ashwini Ray Sarma, Ashok Singhal, Bimal Bora, Biswajit Daimari, Jayanta Malla Barua, Kaushik Roy, Keshab Mahanta, Krishnendu Paul, Nilima Devi, Pijush Hazarika, Ranoj Pegu, and Susanta Borgohain.
