Arvind Kejriwal Criticizes Modi Government Over Alleged Temple Fund Misappropriation

Arvind Kejriwal has launched a strong critique against the Modi government regarding alleged fund misappropriation at the Ram Temple in Ayodhya. He claims that influential figures involved in the scandal are being protected rather than punished. Initiating a nationwide signature campaign, Kejriwal called for action against the alleged thieves and urged devotees to join the movement. He also raised concerns about the authenticity of investigations into the matter, suggesting that the government is merely putting on a show. This article delves into Kejriwal's accusations and his appeal to the public for justice.

Kejriwal's Strong Accusations Against the Government

On Sunday, Arvind Kejriwal, the national convenor of the Aam Aadmi Party, launched a fierce attack on the central government led by Narendra Modi regarding the alleged embezzlement of funds at the Ram Temple in Ayodhya. He accused the government of attempting to shield influential individuals involved in the scandal instead of holding them accountable.

Nationwide Signature Campaign Launched

To address this issue, Kejriwal initiated a significant nationwide signature campaign from the Japanese Park in Rohini, Delhi. The event commenced with a recitation of the Sundarkand. Accompanying him were his wife, Sunita Kejriwal, and senior party leader Manish Sisodia.

Kejriwal Claims Efforts to Protect Wrongdoers

During the public gathering, Kejriwal directed sharp criticism at the Prime Minister. He stated, "The citizens of this country expected that the Prime Minister would not spare any thief and would ensure they receive the harshest punishment. However, recent events suggest that efforts are being made to protect thieves and robbers."

Allegations of Fake Investigations

Kejriwal further alleged that there has been no genuine investigation into the purported land scam in Ayodhya or the commission involved in the temple construction. He questioned the government's actions, asserting that the Special Investigation Team (SIT) and the First Information Report (FIR) created for this case are merely a facade to shield the real culprits.

"There is no investigation into the commission involved in the land scam and temple construction. A fake SIT was formed, and a fake FIR was filed for the minor investigation into the fund misappropriation. The public no longer trusts that the Prime Minister will take stringent action in this matter."

Accusations of Deleting CCTV Footage

In his address, Kejriwal made a significant claim that within 40 days, 70 theft incidents were recorded by CCTV cameras in the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi complex in Ayodhya. He alleged that the eight-month-old CCTV footage was reportedly deleted to conceal this truth.

He expressed that they have consistently demanded action on this issue, believing that those in power would take steps. However, it has become evident that they will do nothing, as individuals from their own party and affiliated organizations are involved. The entire government system is currently focused on protecting the thieves.

Call to Action for Devotees

Kejriwal urged devotees across the nation to join the Aam Aadmi Party's campaign. He stated, "Today, we have commenced this movement with the recitation of the Sundarkand. Every true devotee of Lord Ram should pledge that until we ensure the culprits who committed theft and robbery in Lord Ram's home receive the death penalty, we will not remain silent."
