Arvid Lindblad Shines at Red Bull Moto Jam in India
Exciting Motorsports Event
On Sunday, Arvid Lindblad, a driver for Racing Bulls in Formula 1, participated in the second edition of the Red Bull Moto Jam. This unique motorsports event captivated Indian fans, offering them a chance to witness thrilling live exhibitions and see Arvid in action behind the wheel of an F1 car. Notably, Arvid is the third Formula 1 driver of Indian descent and returned to India just a week prior to his F1 debut to perform at the India Expo Centre in Noida, a region that has previously hosted three Formula One Grands Prix.
A Festive Display of Speed
During the event, Arvid drove the RB8, the car that Sebastian Vettel used to win the World Championship in 2012, which was adorned in VCARB livery. This performance coincided with Holi, the vibrant festival of colors in India, celebrated on March 3. In keeping with the tradition of Red Bull Showruns in India, the car released colored powder (gulal) into the air, enhancing the festive atmosphere.
Historic Moment at Buddh International Circuit
Before the main event, former F1 driver Karun Chandhok showcased the VCARB-branded RB8 at the Buddh International Circuit, marking the first time in 13 years that an F1 car has been driven at this venue.
Star-Studded Motorsport Festival
The Red Bull Moto Jam was not just about F1; it featured a variety of motorsport disciplines. Notable athletes from the Red Bull family participated, including Lebanese drifting champion Abdo Feghali and stunt biker Aras Gibieza. Global stunt athlete Abdulrahman AlRaeesi, motocross leader Roman Karymov, and freestyle motocross riders Sebastian Westberg and Greg Rowbottom also showcased their skills.
The event was supported by several partners, including Harrier.Ev, OnePlus, Duolingo English Test, Fastrack, Zepto, Confluent, Bisleri, Book My Show, Dream Set Go, ExpoInn, and Laqshya Media Group.
