Chief Minister's Scooty Scheme for Differently Abled Individuals


Chittorgarh. The state government has launched the ambitious Chief Minister's Scooty Scheme for 2026, inviting eligible differently-abled individuals to submit their applications online. Under this initiative, qualifying individuals will receive a scooty free of charge. Interested applicants can apply until July 31, 2026.


Chandra Prakash Jeengar, Deputy Director of the Department of Social Justice and Empowerment, explained that this scheme, part of the state government's budget announcement for 2026-27, aims to encourage individuals aged between 18 and 45 who have mobility impairments to pursue education and employment opportunities. The scheme will provide free scooters to differently-abled students enrolled in government or recognized colleges, as well as to employed eligible individuals.


Applicants must possess a Unique Disability ID (UDID) card indicating a mobility impairment of 40% or more. Those receiving the Chief Minister's Disabled Person Honor Pension must attach a copy of their pension PPO. For applicants not receiving a pension, the annual income of the individual or their parents/guardians should not exceed two lakh rupees.


It is mandatory to attach essential documents with the application, including a driving license, Aadhaar card, Jan Aadhaar, employment certificate or proof of regular study, UDID card, and an affidavit stating that they have not previously received a scooty.


Interested candidates can apply online through any e-Mitra center or the SSO portal by visiting the "SJMS DSAP" portal with the required documents.
