Applications Open for CEO Position at Ayodhya's Ram Temple Trust

The official trust managing the Ram Temple in Ayodhya, known as 'Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra', has issued a notice on Twitter regarding the recruitment for the CEO position. This announcement comes amidst allegations of embezzlement concerning donations received. The notice shared on X states that the deadline for applications is July 18, 2026, with a service term of three years. Individuals aged between 50 and 70 years are eligible to apply, and the salary will be determined through mutual agreement.

 

The CEO will report directly to the General Secretary and will serve as the highest executive officer of the organization. Responsibilities include overseeing the legal, administrative, and financial operations of the trust. The CEO will be accountable for the overall functioning of the trust, which involves creating operational systems, processes, and procedures aligned with the institution's goals and strengthening the organizational structure.

 

This role entails supervising officials, staff, and other officers, ensuring smooth operations of current activities and future developments, and adhering to all legal, regulatory, and trust deed requirements. The CEO will promote transparency, accountability, and efficiency in financial transactions, accounting systems, and institutional information. Additionally, they will coordinate with local, state, and central government officials to oversee the security framework of the institution when necessary. Ensuring that all religious rituals, prayers, festivals, and ceremonies are conducted smoothly and in accordance with established traditions is also a key responsibility. The CEO will also focus on the safety, convenience, and satisfaction of pilgrims and devotees visiting the temple.

 

Moreover, the CEO will arrange for special guests and renowned saints visiting the institution, work to enhance the reputation of both the trust and the temple, and promote and strengthen Sanatan traditions. This officer will also be responsible for the security, management, and legal use of the trust's properties. The annexure specifies that the CEO will develop plans to achieve the goals outlined in the trust deed and implement them under the supervision of the Board of Trustees and the General Secretary. This officer will also undertake any additional responsibilities assigned by the trust or the General Secretary from time to time.
