The accused is reportedly stationed at the industrial area police station in Ratlam. This operation took place in Bhilwara when the constable was allegedly soliciting a bribe to resolve a case.
According to reports, the victim lodged a complaint with the ACB, stating that the head constable was demanding ₹50,000 in exchange for providing relief in a case filed against him and influencing the proceedings. After verifying the complaint, the ACB team devised a trap operation to catch the accused red-handed.

Following the plan, as soon as the complainant handed over the bribe amount, the ACB team arrived at the scene and apprehended him. The currency notes had been treated with a chemical beforehand, allowing for immediate confirmation of the bribe, leading to the constable's arrest. The incident caused a stir among other police personnel present at the location.
