Anil Kumble, the former captain of India, has issued a warning to the team not to underestimate Zimbabwe as they prepare for their Super 8s match in the ICC Men's T20 World Cup on Thursday in Chennai. He emphasized the importance of maintaining their natural and aggressive style of play.

Following a significant 76-run loss to South Africa, led by Aiden Markram, India finds itself in a must-win scenario. To advance, they not only need to secure victories against Zimbabwe and the West Indies but also improve their poor Net Run Rate (NRR) of -3.800.

Zimbabwe: A Formidable Opponent

In a discussion on JioHotstar, Kumble pointed out that while India should play aggressively, they must also recognize the threat posed by Zimbabwe. He noted their recent successes in the T20 World Cup group stage, including a win over Australia and a successful chase of 179 runs against Sri Lanka, showcasing their confidence in high-pressure situations.
