Sadiya, Mar 30: A remarkable archaeological discovery has been made in the historically rich Jyotish Nagar region of Sadiya.


This find occurred at the home of village head Rajen Gogoi during construction work for house pillars. Gogoi reported that workers stumbled upon the structure while digging a pit.


“The discovery happened yesterday while the workers were excavating. I believe it might be a well, but we will need thorough research to determine its true origin and age,” he stated.





Preliminary assessments suggest that the structure resembles a well, built with layers of burnt clay, located about eight feet beneath the ground.
