Amit Shah's Bold Claims in West Bengal

On Sunday, Union Home Minister Amit Shah asserted that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) would eradicate the 'Gunda Raj' and 'Syndicate Raj' in West Bengal if they come to power. Speaking at a public rally in Tehatta, Nadia district, Shah claimed that voters had already begun to reject the government led by Mamata Banerjee during the first phase of the assembly elections.

He stated, 'The BJP has secured victory in 110 seats during the first phase of elections held on April 23.' Shah emphasized that if the BJP assumes control in West Bengal, the era of 'Gunda Raj' and 'Syndicate Raj' would come to an end. He encouraged voters not to fear the process, assuring them that the Election Commission had made adequate arrangements to ensure that no one could prevent them from casting their votes.'

Furthermore, he mentioned that the BJP would identify 'illegal infiltrators' hidden within the state and take necessary actions against them. Despite heavy rainfall that unexpectedly hit the venue, causing Shah to shorten his speech, a large crowd gathered to hear him speak.
