New Delhi: On Saturday, Union Home Minister Amit Shah convened a meeting with officials from the Home Ministry to discuss the effective facilitation of a newly established high-level committee focused on demographic changes.


This committee, led by Justice Prakash Prabhakar Naolekar, is tasked with examining demographic shifts, particularly in border regions.


Additionally, the committee plans to explore metropolitan areas and industrial cities to evaluate these changes.


According to a spokesperson from the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA), the committee has already held its inaugural meeting and outlined its agenda.
