Inauguration of 'Swadeshotsav 2025'
In a bid to advance Prime Minister Narendra Modi's vision of self-reliance for India, Union Home and Cooperation Minister Amit Shah inaugurated 'Swadeshotsav 2025' on Friday at the Gujarat University grounds in Ahmedabad. The event was attended by Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel and Deputy Chief Minister Harsh Sanghvi. According to a press release, this nationwide expo is scheduled to take place from December 5 to December 9, 2025. Following the inauguration, the Home Minister also unveiled the 'Swanubhuti Exhibition', symbolizing the power of indigenous products.
Seminars and Cultural Events
The festival aims to spread knowledge and awareness through various significant seminars on important topics, as stated in the release. On the inaugural day, December 5, an Environmental Resolution Conference will be held. Sessions on Startup Udaan 2025 and the Indigenous Resolution Campaign are planned for December 6. The sessions on December 7 will focus on the role of maternal strength and cybersecurity awareness. Furthermore, on December 8, seminars will cover Ayurveda, health, and intellectual property rights.
Cultural Programs and Conclusion
On the final day, December 9, discussions will revolve around natural and organic farming. Additionally, various cultural programs will be showcased daily from 7:00 PM to 10:00 PM. Swadeshotsav will serve as a vibrant platform to promote knowledge, art, and a wide array of indigenous products. The press release also mentioned the presence of officials from the Golden Awakening Forum at the event.
