Shah Promises Flood Relief Plan for Ghatal
Shah's Commitment: Implementing Ghatal Flood Relief Plan if BJP Wins
Shah also addressed the persistent flooding issues in Ghatal, criticizing the TMC for rejecting a significant proposal from the central government. Following the floods in Ghatal, Prime Minister Modi had sent a master plan worth ₹1,500 crores for the area's development, with 60% of the funding allocated from the Prime Minister's office. However, the TMC government dismissed the Ghatal master plan. Engaging directly with voters, Shah assured, "Do not worry, elect a BJP government... we will implement the Ghatal master plan within a year and permanently resolve the flooding issue." He emphasized that if the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) wins the elections, work on this project will be expedited to provide lasting relief from floods in the region.

He added, "Mamata Ji, no matter how hard you try, we will remove every illegal immigrant from West Bengal."
