Amit Shah Announces Launch of 'Bharat Taxi' Service to Benefit Drivers

Union Home Minister Amit Shah has announced the imminent launch of the 'Bharat Taxi' service, which aims to share profits with drivers while enhancing customer convenience. During a cooperative conference in Panchkula, he highlighted Haryana's significant contributions to food security and sports excellence. Shah praised both Haryana and Punjab for their roles in making India self-reliant in food production and recognized the bravery of Haryana's soldiers in national defense. He emphasized the importance of integrating agriculture and livestock for economic prosperity and noted the substantial increase in government budgets for agriculture and rural development under Prime Minister Modi's leadership.
 

Introduction of 'Bharat Taxi' Service

On Wednesday, Amit Shah, the Union Minister for Home Affairs and Cooperation, announced that the government will soon launch the 'Bharat Taxi' service, which will share a portion of profits with drivers. Speaking at a cooperative conference in Panchkula, Shah emphasized that this initiative aims to enhance customer convenience while also increasing drivers' earnings. He stated that through the Ministry of Cooperation's efforts, the 'Bharat Taxi' service will soon be operational, ensuring that driver partners receive significant benefits. This initiative is expected to improve customer satisfaction and boost drivers' income.


Haryana's Contributions Highlighted

The Union Minister also highlighted Haryana's contributions to national development, noting the state's pivotal role in ensuring food security, promoting milk production, and achieving excellence in sports. He remarked that Haryana has consistently contributed to the country's food security and sports achievements, with its farmers bringing pride to the nation on various fronts. Shah mentioned that Haryana has always played a crucial role in food production and has helped the country secure numerous medals in sports. Regardless of the challenge, Haryana's farmers have proudly represented India.


Recognition of Haryana and Punjab

Shah praised both Haryana and Punjab for making India self-reliant in food production and gaining global recognition. He pointed out that despite being a small state, Haryana contributes the highest number of soldiers per capita to the Central Armed Police Forces and the three armed services. He noted that Haryana and Punjab have worked towards making the country self-sufficient in food and earning respect worldwide. Even as a smaller state, Haryana's mothers provide the highest number of soldiers in proportion to its population for the defense of the motherland. Their bravery has enabled India's armed forces to successfully thwart numerous attacks.


Integration of Agriculture and Livestock

The Home Minister emphasized that prosperity can be achieved by integrating livestock, agriculture, and cooperative systems, stating that collaboration in these sectors will accelerate economic growth. He mentioned that by combining livestock, agriculture, and cooperatives, prosperity can be generated through cooperation. Shah also highlighted the increase in government spending under Prime Minister Narendra Modi's leadership, noting that the agricultural budget has risen from ₹22,000 crores in 2014 to ₹1.27 lakh crores, while the rural development budget has increased from ₹80,000 crores to ₹1.87 lakh crores.
