Alyssa Healy delivered a memorable farewell to her white-ball international cricket career, scoring an impressive 158 runs in the final match held at Bellerive Oval in Hobart on Sunday.
The 35-year-old wicketkeeper-batter had previously announced that the series against India would mark the end of her 16-year journey in international cricket. Australia, batting first in this last ODI, aimed for a clean sweep against the visiting Indian team.

As she stepped onto the field, Healy was honored with a guard of honour. She quickly showcased her skills, hitting 27 boundaries and two sixes in a rapid 98-ball innings, propelling Australia to a formidable total of 409/7. Her teammate Beth Mooney also played a crucial role, scoring an unbeaten 106 off 84 deliveries, helping the team surpass the 400-run milestone.

Healy, who made her debut for Australia at the age of 19 in February 2010, concludes her ODI career with over 3,500 runs. In T20 internationals, she has accumulated 3,054 runs at an average of 25.45, including a remarkable high score of 148 not out, which stands as the highest individual T20I score among Full Member nations.
