Authorities have reported that a case has been registered against an IPS trainee officer at the Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel National Police Academy (SVPNPA) in Hyderabad. The complaint was lodged by a fellow trainee, leading to allegations of harassment, physical assault, and criminal threats. According to the FIR filed by the Attapur police on July 18, the accused has been identified as Uday Krishna Reddy, an IPS trainee officer.

The complaint was made by a 30-year-old female IPS trainee, who claims that since June 23, the accused has been sending her obscene messages via WhatsApp and making derogatory remarks about her in front of other trainees. She also alleged that he falsely accused her of having sexual relations with another trainee and pressured her to accept these claims.

Additionally, the complainant stated that the accused used abusive language towards her, employed humiliating terms, and threatened her to show her personal messages, effectively blackmailing her.

The FIR further details an incident on July 8, where the accused allegedly took her mobile phone to his room and forced her to reveal its password. On July 9, around 9 PM, he reportedly stopped her unlawfully, dragged her into his room, pulled her hair, attempted to strangle her, held a knife to her neck, and prevented her from leaving. During this incident, he also threw three packets of condoms at her.

Moreover, the FIR mentions that on July 10, the accused allegedly assaulted the complainant again. She accused him of inappropriately touching her, attempting to touch her private parts, secretly recording a private video without her consent, and sending it to her husband with the intent to blackmail her. The complainant also alleged that the accused tried to defame her by spreading false and derogatory information.
