Additionally, New Zealand batters have made significant strides in the ICC Women's ODI batting rankings, according to the latest updates from the ICC.

In the final match between West Indies and Australia held in St Kitts, King's remarkable five-wicket haul allowed her to surpass England's Sophie Ecclestone in the rankings update released on Tuesday. Currently, King holds 753 rating points. She had previously ended Ecclestone's nearly four-year reign at the top in March but fell behind the England bowler again in the last week's rankings.

King's exceptional performance included figures of 5/19 from 10 overs, featuring 44 dot balls, leading Australia to a nine-wicket victory and a clean sweep of the series at 3-0. This performance also elevated her to seventh place in the all-rounder rankings with 281 points, just ahead of England's Nat Sciver-Brunt, who has 280 points.

New Zealand Batters Surge in Rankings

New Zealand's batters have made notable advancements in the ODI batting rankings following their impressive performances in the home ODI series against South Africa. Maddy Green has moved up four places to ninth with a career-high rating of 642, while Amelia Kerr has surged six spots to share the 14th position after her unbeaten 179 runs off 139 balls at the Basin Reserve. This innings set a record for the highest successful run chase in women's ODI history during the second ODI against South Africa Women.

Kerr's remarkable innings, which included 23 fours and a six, helped the White Ferns achieve a thrilling two-wicket victory while chasing a daunting target of 347 runs. Furthermore, she has ascended past Marizanne Kapp into fourth place in the ODI all-rounder rankings, thanks to her contributions with both bat and ball, including figures of 2/37 in New Zealand's victory in the third ODI, which secured a 2-1 series win.

In South Africa's ranks, Chloe Tryon and Sune Luus have each moved up two spots in the all-rounder rankings, now positioned jointly at 12th with 223 points and 15th with 185 points, respectively.
