Flight Diverted for Passenger Safety
On Sunday, an Air India flight en route from Tokyo's Haneda Airport to Delhi was redirected to Kolkata due to persistent high temperatures in the cabin.
The airline confirmed that the aircraft landed safely in Kolkata. In a statement, Air India mentioned that they are making alternative arrangements to ensure passengers reach Delhi as soon as possible.
Air India stated, “Flight AI357, which took off from Haneda to Delhi on June 29, was diverted to Kolkata as a precautionary measure due to ongoing high temperatures in the cabin. The aircraft is currently undergoing inspection.”
