The All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (AIADMK) convened a consultation meeting with district secretaries on Wednesday to strategize for the upcoming Tamil Nadu elections. The gathering was chaired by Edappadi K. Palaniswami, the party's general secretary and leader of the opposition in the Tamil Nadu Assembly, at the party headquarters in Royapettah, Chennai. Palaniswami Concludes Statewide Tour

Recently, Edappadi K. Palaniswami wrapped up the 'Makkalai Kappam, Thamilgathai Meetpom' (Protect the People, Save Tamil Nadu) tour, where he held the DMK accountable for its failures. The tour aimed to attract voters by highlighting key initiatives. Over three months, the AIADMK covered all 234 constituencies in a 12,000-kilometer journey, conducting 175 meetings. Palaniswami pledged to protect the people and save Tamil Nadu.

This initiative includes numerous public meetings, dialogues, and bike rallies. Led by state president Nainar Nagendran, the statewide campaign, set to conclude in January 2026, aims to expose alleged misgovernance and corruption by the DMK government.
