ABVP Responds to AISA's Claims

New Delhi, August 7 - The Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) has dismissed allegations made by the All India Students Association (AISA) regarding an incident where ink was thrown at AISA's national president, Neha Bora, during a protest march in Ranchi. The ABVP labeled these claims as 'baseless, misleading, and politically motivated.'

The organization accused AISA of diverting attention from genuine student issues by resorting to fabricated controversies and leveraging media narratives for political gain.

Incident During Protest March

During a protest march towards the state assembly on Friday, which was organized to address alleged irregularities in the Jharkhand Public Service Commission (JPSC) and Jharkhand Staff Selection Commission (JSSC) examinations, an individual threw ink at AISA's national president. After being detained, the assailant accused Bora of being 'anti-national.'

AISA condemned the incident in a statement, alleging that individuals associated with the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) were orchestrating a campaign of 'disinformation and hatred' against Bora for participating in the protest.

ABVP's Stance on the Allegations

In response to the allegations, ABVP stated that the leftist student organization is using the ink-throwing incident to overshadow the real issues faced by students. The ABVP claimed that instead of seeking justice, AISA is deliberately attempting to gain political advantage.

They emphasized that student movements should focus on safeguarding educational interests and contributing to nation-building, rather than becoming tools for political agendas.
