The women's 4x400m relay team made history by securing India's first athletics gold medal at the Asian Games, finishing with a time of 3:29.69. Bahrain took home the silver medal, while China earned bronze.

Neeru Dhanda's historic win in the women's trap event saw her score 28 out of 30 in the final, earning her gold. Sun Yunong from China secured silver with a score of 26/30, and Hajar Abdulmalik from the UAE claimed bronze with 21/25.

Additionally, Neeru, alongside Aashima Ahlawat and Manisha Keer, won silver in the women's trap team event, achieving a total score of 328 points.
