Earthquake Strikes Davao Oriental


A significant earthquake measuring 6.2 on the Richter Scale occurred in the Davao Oriental region of the southern Philippines on Monday, June 15. Fortunately, no tsunami warnings have been issued following the quake, and there are currently no reports of injuries or damage.


This seismic event follows a more powerful earthquake of 7.8 magnitude that recently impacted General Santos city in Mindanao, resulting in the tragic loss of four lives and injuries to over 200 individuals.
