33 Injured in Nightclub Bombing in Peru, Including Minors

Bombing Incident at Dali Nightclub


A bombing at a nightclub in Peru has resulted in injuries to 33 individuals, including several minors, as reported by local authorities on Saturday. The incident took place in the early hours at the Dali nightclub located in Trujillo, a province on Peru's northern coast, according to a statement from the local Emergency Operations Center. The identity of the perpetrators remains unknown.


Gerardo Florián Gómez, the executive director of the Trujillo Health Network, indicated that at least five of the injured are in critical condition. Some victims have sustained serious injuries, including amputations and shrapnel wounds, and are currently undergoing surgical procedures. Among those hurt are three minors: one aged 16 and two aged 17.


This explosion follows a previous incident in the same city less than a month ago, which caused damage to 25 homes but fortunately resulted in no injuries or fatalities.
