27-Year-Old Man Murdered in Delhi Over Sister's Relationship Dispute

A 27-year-old man named Ishmeet Singh was brutally murdered in Delhi's Khyala area following a dispute over his sister's relationship. The attack involved three assailants, leading to severe injuries that resulted in his death. Ishmeet's family had previously opposed the relationship, prompting tensions that escalated into violence. In a separate case, the Crime Branch captured a convicted serial killer who had jumped parole. Brutal Attack Leads to Fatality

In a tragic incident in Khyala, Delhi, a 27-year-old man was allegedly beaten and fatally stabbed by three individuals. The altercation stemmed from the victim's disapproval of his sister's relationship with one of the attackers.


Details of the Assault


Authorities have identified the victim as Ishmeet Singh and the suspects as Anmol, Pritpal, and Piyush. Reports indicate that a confrontation occurred between Ishmeet and Anmol on May 19, escalating into a violent struggle. Anmol reportedly gained the upper hand, delivering severe punches and kicks to Ishmeet. During this altercation, one of the assailants used a knife, inflicting life-threatening injuries.


Family's Opposition to the Relationship


Following the attack, Ishmeet's father rushed him to the hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries. It has been revealed that Ishmeet's family had previously expressed their disapproval of the relationship and had urged Anmol to end it. Ishmeet had also confronted Anmol regarding the matter.


The police have initiated a case under relevant sections of the law and are actively pursuing the remaining suspects involved in this incident.


Crime Branch Captures Convicted Serial Killer

In an unrelated case, the Crime Branch of New Delhi has apprehended Dr. Devender Kumar Sharma, a convicted serial killer who had been on the run after jumping parole.


Sharma, who was serving a life sentence for multiple kidnapping and murder cases involving truck and taxi drivers, had escaped parole in August 2023. He has a history of parole violations, having previously absconded in 2020. During his criminal activities from 1998 to 2004, he was involved in a kidney transplant racket alongside Dr. Amit, claiming to have conducted around 125 transplants.


Details of the Parole Violation


Dr. Sharma had been granted a two-month parole on June 9, 2023, related to a case registered under various sections of the IPC. However, he failed to return after the parole period ended and went into hiding. The police conducted thorough investigations across Aligarh, Jaipur, and Delhi to locate him.
