Vir Das Clarifies Injury Allegations

Vir Das has responded to rumors suggesting that he was unintentionally hurt by Kangana Ranaut during a kissing scene in their 2014 film, Revolver Rani. The actor and comedian dismissed these claims as "pure fiction," emphasizing that there were no issues between them during the filming process.


In a post shared on X, he praised Kangana as "a complete professional" and criticized the circulating claims as unjust.


"To clarify, this story is entirely fictional. Kangana was a consummate professional, and I still believe she is an exceptionally talented artist. This is an unfair attack on her character. Although she later referred to me as a terrorist for my comedy, there were absolutely no problems on set," he stated on X.


Following Vir's remarks, Kangana Ranaut also took to X to address the viral allegations, questioning the source of the story and rejecting the claims.


Revolver Rani, released in 2014, starred Kangana Ranaut as Alka Singh, also known as Revolver Rani, while Vir Das portrayed the character Rohan Mehra.


On the professional front, Vir Das recently appeared in Happy Patel: Khatarnak Jasoos, which also marked his debut as a director.
