I find immense joy in exploring various narratives rather than just focusing on the roles themselves. It's fulfilling to share diverse stories that reflect different lives, genres, and settings. I thrive on such creative explorations.

Reflecting on your career—from films like Khosla Ka Ghosla and Bheja Fry to Aliya Basu Gayab Hai—do you actively seek out stories that redefine audience perceptions of you?

As I’ve mentioned previously, I prefer not to dwell on my own persona too much. The self can often be influenced by ego, which I find rather tedious. Instead, I am captivated by unique stories and characters. My focus has always been on the narrative and the character I am fortunate to portray.

Is it more thrilling to portray a character with ambiguous motives, even to the viewers?

Absolutely. It keeps you on a quest for truth within the character. Even amidst the most complex and unforeseen conflicts, the search for authenticity is exhilarating. It may be a challenging journey, but it certainly makes for an exciting experience.
