Shakira Launches New World Cup Anthem

Colombian singer Shakira has revealed her latest song for the upcoming 2026 FIFA World Cup, titled Dai Dai.


Marking a decade since her iconic anthem Waka Waka for the 2010 World Cup, Shakira is set to make a grand return.


On Thursday, she shared a sneak peek of Dai Dai on Instagram, showcasing a one-minute clip filmed at Brazil's Maracana stadium. The full track is scheduled for release on May 14 and features Nigerian artist Burna Boy.


This new song will be Shakira's second official anthem for the FIFA World Cup, following her unforgettable Waka Waka (This Time for Africa) from the 2010 tournament held in South Africa.


The 2026 FIFA World Cup promises to be the largest yet, taking place from June 11 to July 19, with 104 matches across the United States, Canada, and Mexico. The opening match is set for Mexico City, while the final will occur in New Jersey.
