Ingredients:
8 slices of bread
1/2 cup finely diced cucumber
1/2 cup finely diced tomato
1/2 cup finely diced bell pepper
1/4 cup grated carrot and finely chopped cabbage
1/4 cup finely diced onion
4 tablespoons mayonnaise or green chutney
Salt to taste
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1/2 teaspoon chaat masala
2-3 tablespoons butter
Instructions:
Begin by placing all the finely chopped vegetables (cucumber, tomato, bell pepper, carrot, cabbage, and onion) into a large mixing bowl.
Add the mayonnaise or green chutney to the vegetables, followed by salt, black pepper, and chaat masala. Mix everything thoroughly, ensuring to add salt last to prevent the vegetables from releasing excess moisture.
Take two slices of bread. If you prefer a toasted sandwich, spread a light layer of butter on the outer sides of the bread.
Evenly distribute the vegetable mixture on one slice of bread, then place the second slice on top to form a sandwich.
Grill the sandwich in a toaster or griller until it turns crispy and golden brown.
