Ingredients Needed:
6 to 8 slices of white bread
1 liter of full-cream milk
4 to 5 tablespoons of sugar
10–12 strands of saffron
1/2 teaspoon of green cardamom powder
2 to 3 tablespoons of chopped nuts
2 tablespoons of milk powder

Steps to Prepare Bread Rasmalai:

Begin by pouring 1 liter of full-cream milk into a heavy-bottomed pan and heating it over medium flame until it boils.

Once boiling, lower the heat and let it simmer until the milk thickens.

When the milk has reduced to about half its original volume, mix in the sugar, cardamom powder, and saffron-infused milk (saffron strands soaked in warm milk).

Next, incorporate finely chopped cashews, almonds, and pistachios. To thicken the mixture faster, dissolve 2 tablespoons of milk powder in a bit of milk and stir it in.

Turn off the heat and allow the milk mixture to cool completely before refrigerating it for an hour.

After chilling, cut out round shapes from the center of fresh bread slices using a bowl or glass. Just before serving, place the round bread pieces on a serving plate and pour the chilled Rasmalai milk over them, allowing the bread to soak up the liquid.

Garnish with finely chopped pistachios and saffron strands, then enjoy!
