Introduction to Hair Color Solutions

Many individuals dislike having white hair, especially when it appears at a young age. Poor diet and unhealthy lifestyles have led to an increase in premature graying among the youth. While some resort to hair dyes to cover the gray, these products often come with various side effects.

Natural Method to Darken Hair

Today, we will share a completely natural remedy to darken white hair using just three essential ingredients: mustard oil, henna, and amla. This solution not only helps in darkening your hair but also addresses other hair-related issues.

Preparation of the Darkening Oil

Start by taking an iron kadhai (pan). While you can use other types of pans, an iron one tends to yield better results. Pour approximately 200 ml of raw mustard oil into the kadhai. You can choose any brand of oil for this purpose.

Next, place the kadhai on medium heat. Add two to three tablespoons of herbal dry henna powder into the oil. Stir well and let it cook, ensuring the heat remains low. To prevent lumps from forming, stir the mixture occasionally for about two to three minutes.

Afterward, mix in one tablespoon of amla powder. This ingredient will help maintain the shine of your hair, alleviate hair problems, and combat white hair. Then, add one and a half to two tablespoons of fenugreek powder, which strengthens hair roots and contributes to darkening.

Cook the mixture until it turns brown, which should take around seven to eight minutes. Be careful not to let the oil burn, so keep stirring continuously. Once it reaches the desired color, turn off the heat and allow it to cool.

Storage and Application Method

Once the mixture has cooled, cover it and let it sit for 12 to 24 hours. This resting period will thicken the mixture, allowing the fenugreek, amla, and henna to release their colors. Afterward, strain the oil and store it in an airtight container, preferably made of plastic or glass. This oil can be kept for several months.

You can apply this oil once or twice a week, always three hours before shampooing. Use a cotton ball to apply it directly to the roots of your hair. You should start noticing results within a few days, eliminating the hassle of using hair dye. The best part is that this oil has no side effects.
