Preparing for the Big Day

Every bride wants to look stunning on her wedding day, and all eyes are on her. To achieve this, attention is given to everything from attire to accessories. Additionally, maintaining healthy skin is crucial. Summer can lead to tanning, which dulls the complexion. Fortunately, you can create body scrubs, face scrubs, and face packs using simple home ingredients. These remedies not only help remove tanning but also make the skin glow and feel soft. Using natural ingredients minimizes the risk of skin damage, making them ideal even as the wedding date approaches.

Ingredients for Body Scrub

If your wedding is just a month away and your skin still looks dull, consider incorporating natural ingredients into your skincare routine instead of opting for expensive cosmetic treatments. Often, treatments taken close to an event can lead to unexpected reactions, risking your look on the special day. Therefore, it's advisable to avoid new products or treatments as the wedding approaches.

How to Make the Body Scrub

To create a body scrub, you will need sugar, turmeric, rice, coconut oil, and honey. Additionally, have baby shampoo or a mild body wash on hand. Measure all ingredients using a scoop or small cup. Start by roasting turmeric on low heat until it turns brown. Next, grind the sugar and rice together. Combine 1 cup of rice powder, 1 cup of sugar powder, and half a cup of roasted turmeric in a bowl. Store this mixture in an airtight container. Add 2-3 tablespoons of honey and the baby shampoo or body wash until it reaches a creamy texture. Apply this scrub to your entire body 2-3 times a week, massaging for 2-3 minutes before rinsing off.

Face Scrub Preparation

For a face de-tan scrub, roast turmeric and mix it with 2 tablespoons of coffee powder and 1 tablespoon of turmeric. Add honey and a little yogurt to create a thick paste. Massage this scrub onto your face in circular motions for 12 minutes once a week, then rinse off.

Creating a Face Pack

To brighten your skin and remove tanning, you can make a natural face pack using beetroot juice, turmeric, rice water, gram flour or rice flour, honey, and tomato juice. Mix 1 tablespoon of gram flour or rice flour with a quarter teaspoon of turmeric, then add equal parts of tomato juice, beetroot juice, and rice water to form a paste.

Applying the Face Pack

Apply this face pack to your face and neck three times a week, leaving it on for at least 20 minutes. Afterward, gently pat your face with rose water or rice water and massage lightly. Cleanse your face with a damp sponge or tissue.
