Kangana Ranaut's Journey Through Struggles and Success

Kangana Ranaut shares her experiences in the film industry, noting that her achievements in fashion did not carry over to her cinematic career. She reminisces about a challenging phase where she felt she was underperforming to make ends meet.

The actress and BJP MP from Mandi, who is set to appear in the upcoming film Bharat Bhhagya Viddhaata, celebrates two decades in the industry, which began with her successful debut in 2006's Gangster: A Love Story directed by Anurag Basu.

Ranaut emphasizes the importance of using difficult times constructively, stating, "Life communicates with you during struggles, and it's essential to heed its messages." Reflecting on her career, she recalls questioning her lack of opportunities during her tough times post-2007-2008.

She mentioned being advised to hire a manager who represented leading stars, which led her to roles in commercial films such as "Rascals" and "Dhamaal."

Despite recognizing that these roles did not reflect her true potential, she felt she had no choice at the time. "People often say, 'Do what you love,' but that’s naive. You must do what is necessary and what you are capable of," she remarked.

Eventually, Ranaut found her footing by portraying relatable characters in films like Queen and Tanu Weds Manu, which marked her rise to success.

Bharat Bhhagya Viddhaata is scheduled to hit theaters on June 12.
