Jennifer Lopez Opens Up About Her Journey

During the inaugural night of her Las Vegas residency, Up All Night at The Colosseum in Caesars Palace, singer and actress Jennifer Lopez shared insights about her life and past relationships, including her split from actor Ben Affleck.

Lopez engaged with the audience, discussing the significant changes in her life since her previous Las Vegas residency nearly ten years ago at Planet Hollywood’s Zappos Theater.

She expressed her gratitude, saying, “It’s such a huge honour to be asked back. Can you believe it’s been a decade since my last residency here? Almost ten years to the day. It was in January. Time really flies, doesn’t it?”

With a touch of humor, she remarked on her personal life, joking, “And in that time, I’ve only been married twice,” which elicited laughter from the crowd. She quickly clarified, “Just kidding! It was only once. It felt like twice.”

Lopez reassured her fans, saying, “I’m just joking. It’s all behind us, and we’re moving forward. The good news is I’m learning and evolving, and I’m in my happy era. I’m truly in my happy era.”

Her relationship with Affleck began in 2002 and lasted until 2004 after they met on the set of Gigli. They rekindled their romance in 2021 and tied the knot in July 2022. However, Lopez filed for divorce in August 2024, marking the second anniversary of their wedding celebration in Georgia.
