As catastrophic floods continue to devastate Assam, renowned singer and actor Jasbir Jassi has made a heartfelt appeal to citizens across India, particularly the Punjabi community, to unite in aiding those impacted.

Discussing the magnitude of the calamity, Jassi expressed that numerous families have been displaced, losing their homes, livestock, and means of income, with many forced to leave everything behind in search of safety. He stated, "People have lost their lives, livelihoods, and everything they have built over the years. This is the time to stand with Assam."

He commended the relief efforts already underway by Sikh organizations, acknowledging their unwavering dedication to humanitarian service during crises.
