Black pepper enhances the effects of turmeric. Mix half a teaspoon of turmeric with a pinch of black pepper in warm water, milk, honey, or soup.
Coriander: Coriander aids in detoxifying the body, improving digestion, and protecting liver cells. Drinking coriander tea or adding coriander leaves to vegetables and curries can be helpful.
Ginger and Amla: Ginger boosts digestion, increases blood circulation, and helps eliminate toxins from the body. It also protects against fatty liver disease. Ginger tea can be consumed, or a small amount can be taken with honey after meals. Amla, rich in vitamin C, cleanses the liver, enhances immunity, and keeps the body youthful. It can be eaten as a fruit or taken as a preserve or powder.
Beetroot and Carrot: These vegetables contain betalains and nitrates that reduce inflammation and assist in liver cleansing. Beetroot can be consumed raw in salads or as juice, while carrots, rich in beta-carotene and flavonoids, improve liver function.
