How to make skimmed milk at home?
Components:
You only need whole fat milk or buffalo milk to make skimmed milk. Remember that you cannot make skimmed milk from cow's milk, so avoid taking it.
Method:
step 1
Take a non-stick pan and add 3-4 spoons of water before adding milk. This will ensure that the milk does not stick to the bottom of the pan and does not burn.
step 2
Now, add full fat milk to the pan and heat it on high flame for 10-15 minutes or till it boils.
step 3
When the buffalo milk boils, turn off the heat and let it cool for 1-2 hours.
step 4
Once the milk cools down to room temperature, keep it in the refrigerator and leave it for 8-10 hours or whole day if you want.
step 5
This will keep the milk cream or malai floating on the top and it will be easy for you to remove it with a spoon. Do not throw away this cream. You can use cream to remove dryness of the skin or you can boil it to make ghee.
step 6
Once this is done, you need to repeat the process two more times. When you boil milk for the second time, you will see that it is producing less cream and there will be little left after boiling for the third time.
step 7
After boiling the full fat milk thrice and skimming off all the cream, your skimmed milk is ready!
