In celebration of the 12th International Yoga Day, the AYUSH Department of Himachal Pradesh hosted a dedicated yoga camp at the historic Chaurasi Temple complex in Bharmour. This year's theme focused on “Yoga for Healthy Age.”
Dr. Rajesh Kumar, the SDAMO of Bharmour, shared that numerous officials and employees from various sectors, along with representatives from Gram Panchayat Bharmaur, principals, educators, and students from Government Senior Secondary School Bharmaur and DAV Public School, took part in the event.
He pointed out that yoga transcends mere physical activity; it serves as a comprehensive approach to achieving a healthy and balanced lifestyle. Engaging in yoga regularly not only enhances physical fitness but also alleviates mental stress. The camp aimed to raise awareness about the benefits of yoga within the community.
Dr. Kumar also emphasized that yoga is a treasured aspect of India's heritage, now recognized globally, and encouraged everyone to incorporate yoga into their daily lives.
The event, organized by the AYUSH Department Bharmour, saw enthusiastic involvement from various community members, marking it as a successful and motivating occasion.
