Avika Gor's Health Crisis

Balika Vadhu star Avika Gor has been admitted to the hospital after being diagnosed with dengue fever, following a grueling five days of high fever during which she prioritized her work commitments over rest.

Her husband, Milind Chandwani, shared on Instagram that Avika managed to complete a two-day shoot in just one day while battling a fever that reached 104 degrees. She then traveled to Delhi for an advertisement shoot before receiving her dengue diagnosis. He mentioned, “She spent the entire day in bed, taking medication, unable to move or eat properly. Yet, she insisted on going to Delhi to shoot an ad despite her condition.”

Milind expressed his concerns, urging her to delay her commitments, assuring her that the producers would understand. However, she consistently declined, stating, “Someone will suffer a loss, someone’s time will be wasted, someone’s money will be lost. I don’t want that. I’ll do as much as I can.”

Milind praised her dedication, saying, “I have never understood where someone gets so much love for their work from. I don’t think many people in this industry do that. I am proud of you, Avika,” and asked fans to keep her in their thoughts and prayers.

Avika and Milind tied the knot in September 2025.
