The prestigious Forbes 30 Under 30 Asia list has recognized notable figures from the entertainment and sports sectors, including Ananya Panday, Ishaan Khatter, singer Anuv Jain, and filmmaker Sulagna Chatterjee.

This annual list highlights 30 remarkable young entrepreneurs, artists, athletes, and more from the Asia-Pacific region, all under the age of 30.

Forbes' profile on 26-year-old Ananya Panday highlights her impressive filmography, which includes 11 films, such as the 2019 hit Student of the Year 2 and CTRL, released last year.

In April, she made headlines by becoming Chanel's first Indian brand ambassador, marking a significant step for the luxury brand's growth in South Asia. As the daughter of actor Chunky Panday, she boasts an impressive 26 million followers on Instagram.

Ishaan Khatter, aged 29, is noted by Forbes as being on the cusp of becoming a major star in both Bollywood and Hollywood.

His debut film, the indie drama Beyond the Clouds, earned him the Filmfare Award for Best Male Debut in 2019, along with the Best Male Debut award from the India International Film Academy. He later starred in Netflix's A Suitable Boy (2020) and shared the screen with Nicole Kidman in The Perfect Couple last year.

Anuv Jain, a 29-year-old songwriter from Ludhiana, has gained international fame while staying true to his acoustic roots. Forbes describes him as an artist known for his poignant lyrics and simple guitar and ukulele arrangements, which create an intimate atmosphere in his music. His 2023 release Husn has garnered 204 million views on YouTube, while his breakout single Baarishein has reached 107 million views.

With 16 million monthly listeners on Spotify and over 1.5 billion streams across his songs, Jain toured the UK, Australia, and other South Asian countries in 2024, and contributed a track to the UN's Earth Day album.

Sulagna Chatterjee, at 29, aspires to bring queer narratives to television. In 2020, she was approached by Mumbai's Dice Media to write Firsts, a mini-series exploring meet-cutes through a queer woman's perspective. She has also contributed to the Netflix series Feels Like Ishq and Jio Studio's Code M. Currently, she is finalizing a crowdfunded film titled Pehli Date, which has been in development for five years and focuses on the first date of two women.
