Two-Day Trek Experience
The journey kicks off in Dehradun. On the first day, you will travel approximately 90 kilometers to Pantwari village, which takes around 4 to 5 hours. This village is located at an elevation of about 1,450 meters (4,700 feet). Upon arrival, the trek begins.

The first day's hike involves an ascent of roughly 4 kilometers, taking about 3 hours to reach Camp 1, situated at an altitude of around 2,300 meters (7,700 feet). A cloakroom is available at the base camp in Pantwari. If you prefer to include transportation in your trek package, you can opt for this service when booking with TTH.

The second day presents a greater challenge, as trekkers will ascend from Camp 1 to the Nag Tibba summit, which stands at approximately 3,000 meters (9,900 feet). The round trip to the peak and back to Pantwari village covers about 12 kilometers and typically takes around 10 to 11 hours in total.

Reaching the summit is undoubtedly the highlight of this trek. It requires good physical fitness and adequate preparation, making it crucial to focus on your fitness level before embarking on this adventure.

Preparation Tips for Trekkers

Essential Considerations Before You Go
While the Nag Tibba trek can be completed over a weekend, it should not be underestimated. Be sure to wear comfortable trekking shoes, bring warm clothing, a water bottle, and any necessary medications. Pack your gear according to the weather conditions, maintain a steady pace during the ascent, and take breaks as needed.

If you're in search of a trekking experience that fits into a short timeframe, Nag Tibba is an excellent weekend option. However, since the trek to the summit and back in one day involves a significant hike, ensure that you choose this trek based on your physical capabilities.
