The highly anticipated trailer for Toxic is set to debut globally on August 8, as announced by the film's creators on Saturday, along with a striking new poster featuring lead actor Yash.

In an Instagram post, Yash expressed his excitement, stating, "The countdown has begun... #ToxicTrailer on 08-08-2026. #Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups hits theaters worldwide on 26-08-2026." The accompanying poster depicts him in the rain, brandishing a machine gun and smoking a cigar.

Just a day prior, the team celebrated Kiara Advani's birthday by unveiling a poster showcasing her character, Nadia. The image features a close-up of Advani in a vibrant red outfit, elegantly holding a red sakura hand fan. The caption read, "Wishing a very Happy Birthday to our Nadia – @kiaraaliaadvani – Team #Toxic."

The initial look of the film was revealed on January 8, coinciding with Yash's birthday. The teaser begins with an intimate scene featuring Yash and a woman in a car, before transitioning to intense action where he takes down multiple adversaries in a cemetery. This teaser sparked controversy online, with some labeling it as "indecent," leading to complaints from a Christian organization and a state women's commission, as well as an FIR against the filmmakers.

Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups is helmed by director Geetu Mohandas and produced by Venkat K. Narayana and Yash under KVN Productions and Monster Mind Creations. The film is shot in both Kannada and English, and will also be available in dubbed versions in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, and Malayalam.
