Exciting New Culinary and Cultural Ventures in Chandigarh
A Taste of Berlin and Chicago
Dubai's popular quick-service restaurant chain, Doner & Gyros, has officially launched its first outlet in Chandigarh, located in the food court of Elante Mall. This establishment introduces the vibrant flavors of Berlin and Chicago-style sandwiches to the local dining scene, merging international cuisine with a fast-casual dining experience.
Prateek Sachdev, a partner at Doner & Gyros, alongside Roadies star Ranvijay Sangha, shared, "Our brand draws inspiration from the renowned street foods of Chicago and Berlin, offering hot, fresh, and authentic dishes. In less than five years, we have expanded to over 200 locations, and we plan to reach 30 more cities across India by 2025."
The 'Doner,' a beloved street food in Berlin since 1971, consists of meat wrapped in fresh bread. The Chicago Gyro, which has Greek origins, features meat cooked on a vertical broiler and served in warm, baked bread, first introduced in the US in 1965. Now, Chandigarh residents can savor this unique culinary blend.
